Then apply online.  Remember, you will have to give a physical fitness test and medical examination if you get shortlisted. Then if you want to be an officer, you can check it from the IAF (Indian Air Force) website. Eligibility Criteria:

Agniveer (Age 17-23):

  • Patriotism: According to the Indian Civil Rights Act, of 1955, it is the pride of India to be a citizen.

  • Education: Minimum education (minimum qualification) is required as per the skill chosen. Generally, a 10+2 pass certificate with a minimum percentage in Maths and Science is mandatory.

  • Marital Status: Unmarried at the time of application.

  • Fitness: Good physical condition is very important. Prepare for running, push-ups, sit-ups, and rope climbing. Nishedh shart will be available on the Agnipath portal [CASB]. Officer (Age 18-24):

  • Patriotism: Just like Agniveer - being a proud citizen of India.

  • Education: The education is more or less different depending on the desired officer branch. Generally, a graduation degree in a field related to a recognized university is mandatory. The required details will be available on the IAF website [Indian Air Force]. 

  • Marital Status: For candidates below 25 years of age, it is mandatory to be unmarried before starting the training. Widow/Widor and married persons below 25 years of age are not eligible.

  • Fitness: Good physical condition is very important. Prepare for exercise like for the Agniveer route. The detailed instructions will be available on the IAF website.

 

Exam Pattern:

There are generally three sections in the online entrance exam:

  • Mathematics: This section will test basic mathematical concepts like algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and mensuration.
