UP Board 10th Exam Cancelled Due to COVID-19

Exams for grades 10 and 12 have been postponed twice this year. Exams were originally scheduled to begin on April 24 but were postponed to May 8 due to a conflict with the Panchayat elections. As a result of the growing instances, the state went into lockdown on April 30, and all educational institutions were ordered to close until May 10. However, due to the government's decision to keep all educational institutions closed across the state until May 15, examinations were once again postponed.

Aside from that, the minister dispelled any doubts about the class 12 board exams, which are set to take place in the second week of July. In a high-level meeting with the Union Minister of Education
Ramesh Pokhriyal and secretaries of other states/UTs, the UP board decided to go with the second alternative given by the CBSE. The UP-board class 12 exams would take 1.5 hours to complete.
