The exam as mentioned above comprises of three stages:

RBI Grade B Exam Pattern: Preliminary Exam

  1. The exam will be held in online mode.
  2.  The total number of questions is 200. 
  3. The questions are objective type.
  4. There are 4 sections in the exam.
  5. Each correct answer will fetch a candidate with 1 mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
  6. The duration of the exam is 2 hours.

There are three papers in the recruitment process for this exam. The papers pertain to economics-  Paper I Objective Type (on Economics) and Paper II & III will be descriptive type. The final selection for these posts is based on all three exams along with the interview exam.
