RRB Group D Syllabus 2023

The computer-based test (CBT) is the first stage of the RRB Group D Exam. The syllabus for CBT includes questions from the following subjects:

• General Science
• Mathematics
• General Intelligence and Reasoning
• General Awareness and Current Affairs

Questions in the RRB Group D Exam will be asked from the topics in the above-mentioned subjects which are a part of the syllabus. The syllabus has been notified in the official notification for the RRB Group D Exam. Candidates can check the detailed subject-wise syllabus below.

RRB Group D Syllabus for General Science

Questions in this section are asked from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Questions are basic (10th level). Questions in physics are asked about work and motion, Lens, Work energy, Electricity, etc. Chemistry will include Basic Reactions, chemistry in everyday life, periodic tables, Acid Bases and salt. Biology will comprise both plant & human analogy.
 

RRB Group D Syllabus: Mathematics

This is an important section for the RRB Group D Exam. Questions asked are based on the class 10th level. The different topics from which questions are asked in this section include the following:

• Ratio and Proportion
• Mensuration

This is a very scoring section. The questions asked are very basic. This section aims to test your basic knowledge and reasoning aptitude. Different topics included in this section are as follows:

A total of 20 questions are asked in this section. This section can be tricky. You need to prepare this section well from the beginning itself. Questions cover the following topics:

RRB Group D Exam Pattern

RRB Group D Recruitment process consists of three stages:

• Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Document Verification and Medical 

The detailed exam pattern is as follows:

RRB Group D Exam Pattern: CBT

• A total of 100 questions are asked.
• Questions are objective. 
• The duration of the exam is 90 minutes.
• Each question carries one mark.
• There is a negative marking and 1/3 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer.

RRB Group D Exam Pattern: Physical Efficiency Test

Male candidates	Female candidates should
Should be able to lift and carry 35 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down ; Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance.	Should be able to lift and carry 20 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down; Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.
