SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for SSC CGL Exam to get recruited to the above-mentioned posts should ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria which is as given below.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates applying for the various posts need to have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university at the time of applying. Apart from this there will be additional requirements that the candidates need to fulfill to be eligible to apply.
Age Limit:
The age requirements vary from posts to post. But generally it is between 20 and 30 years.Also there are certain age relaxation criteria for the reserved candidates.

- The candidate must hold an Indian Citizenship
- He / She can be a Subject of Nepal or Bhutan.
- A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement.
- A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India.
Can candidates who are in the final year of their Graduation apply for the SSC CGL exam?
Yes candidates in the final year of graduation can apply for the posts but they have to present their bachelor’s degree at the time of document verification.
How many times can a candidate appear for the SSC CGL exam?
There is no limit to the number of attempts allowed for the Combined Graduate Level Exam. Candidates can appear for the exam till they fulfill the maximum age limit allowed by the commission.
