Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Education Board. It is a state level exam. The exam is conducted offline. UPTET Application Forms are likely to be released in the coming week of December and the exam is likely to be conducted in January 2021. Candidates should keep checking the official website updeled.gov.in, for further updates about the exam notification.
UPTET 2020 How to Apply
UPTET 2020 forms will be released anytime soon. Hence, it is important that candidates know the procedure to apply for this exam.
STEP 1: Registration
All the candidates wishing to appear for this exam must first register themselves on the official website of UPBEB i.e., updeled.gov.in.
During registration, candidates must submit all the important details such as Name, Date of Birth, Educational Qualifications etc. Kindly note that fields marked with “*” should not be left blank. It is compulsory for candidates to select the District where they wish to appear for the exam.
For registration candidates should also have Scanned copies of their photograph and signature.
STEP 2: FEE PAYMENT
Candidates must pay application fee online after registration. The Application Fee for candidates belonging to different categories are as follows.

STEP 3: FILL THE APPLICATION FORM
After payment of the Application Fee, candidates must fill the TET Application form and fill in the required details such as centres of choice, Registration Number and Date of Birth etc. After completely filling the application form, candidates must review it and then submit the form.
UPTET 2020 Exam Pattern
UPTET consists of two Papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is conducted to recruit teachers for class 1 to class 5 while Paper 2 is for recruiting teachers to class 6 to class 8. The exam is conducted offline and the candidates have to answer multiple choice questions. There is no negative marking in these papers.

UPTET 2020 Syllabus
UPTET 2020 Paper 1 Syllabus:
UPTET Paper 1 Syllabus consists of questions from sections such as Teaching Methodology, Languages (Urud/Hindi/Sanskrit/English), Pedagogy, Environmental Studies and Mathematics. Candidates should also have knowledge about Academic Psychology of Teaching.
UPTET 2020 Paper 2 Syllabus:
UPTET Paper 2 Syllabus consists of questions from Learning and Pedagogy, Child Development, Mathematics and Science, Social Studies, Languages (Urdu/Hindi/Sanskrit/English). Candidates should also have knowledge about Educational Psychology of Mathematics and Science/Social Sciences.

UPTET 2020 Eligibility
The Eligibility for UPTET, as noted in the previous years has been as follows:
NATIONALITY: Candidates should be Indian. However, candidates from Nepal/Tibet/Bhutan are also eligible to apply for this exam.
AGE LIMIT:
- Candidates belonging to the Unreserved Category should be between 18 to 35 years of age.
- Those belonging to OBC category should be between 18 to 38 years of age.
- Physically Handicapped aspirants should be between 18 to 45 years of age.
- Those belonging to SC/ST category should be between 18 to 40 years of age.
- Candidate should be a graduate from any recognized college/university or,
- Candidates should have passed the National Teacher Education Parishad from any renowned educational organisations, OR
- Candidate should have completed BTCT from any of the institutes recognized by the National Teacher Education Council, Uttar Pradesh, OR
- Candidates should have completed two years diploma in education from the Indian Rehabilitation Parishad, OR
- Candidates are also eligible if they hold a teaching degree from any university to Uttar Pradesh Rashtriya Education Office or UGC, OR
- Candidates are also eligible if they have completed their graduation and then completed their training in BTC Urdu from Uttar Pradesh.
Eligibility for Junior High School Level (Class 6 to 8):
Candidates should have completed their graduation or post graduation from any recognized college or university and secured atleast 45% marks. Candidates should have secured atleast 50% marks in Senior Secondary Level. Also the candidates should have completed their degree in Bachelor in Elementary Education from NCTE recognized organization. Read UPTET 2020 Eligibility.
