As per the recent updates, the Delhi University's academic council has approved a new process to admit students to undergraduate courses based on CUET UG scores through CSAS registration 2022. To take admission to Delhi University from this year, candidates will have to follow the Central Seat Allocation System (CSAS) method.As per this new process, a central portal will be developed for admission to all colleges and the admission will be done as per the rules stated in the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). Under this, students will have to apply on a central portal and follow the next stages for admission in Delhi University.
DU Admission 2022
Admissions to DU 2022 will be offered for over 70,000 UG seats. According to the previous year's data, 4,38,696 students registered for UG admissions, 1,83,815 enrolled for PG courses, and 30,019 individuals applied for M.Phil/PHD programs through DU registration. The Delhi University received 3,53,919 paid registrations in 2020, while the varsity received 4,38,696 registrations in 2021. This implies that DU received 84,777 more registrations in 2021 than the previous year, amounting to nearly a 24% increase in applications. Delhi University has decided that the admission to all the colleges will be made through a central portal as per the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) rules. The admission process will be as follows:- Submission of CSAS Common Application Form

DU Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility in General:
Criteria for age: There is no minimum age requirement to apply for UG or PG programmes.Candidates Who Appeared: Candidates who are in the last year of their qualifying examination are eligible to apply.
UG Programmes:
For B.A/ B.A. (Hons):- Qualifying Exam: Applying candidate should have completed his/her 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from CBSE or any other recognized board or University.
- Qualifying Marks: Candidates should have scored a minimum of seventy-five marks in the best of four subjects.
For B.Tech. Courses:
- Qualification: Candidates must have passed or appeared in their 10+2 Intermediate or equivalent level examination from any recognized board.
- Marks: Candidates must have scored at least 60% marks in their qualifying examination to be eligible for admission.
- Qualification: A qualifying examination grade point average of 40%.
- Marks: The selection will be based on the marks received in the qualifying test, which will include one language and three of the top subjects.
- Qualification: The overall percentage in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics should be 55% and one compulsory language should be 50%.
- The students from other streams, (with Mathematics in Class XII), will have a disadvantage of 2% in aggregate of required four subjects, i.e. Mathematics + one language + two academic subjects from those streams.
PG Programmes:
For M.Com. Courses:- Qualification: Applicants must have B.Com./ B.A. (Hons.) degree from any recognized institution.
- Marks: He/she must have secured at least 50% marks in their qualifying degree 45% marks (For OBC) and 40% marks (For SC/ ST) in their qualifying exam.
For LLM Courses:
- Qualification: Candidates must have a 3 – 5 years LL.B. degree or equivalent from any recognized institution.
- Marks: Candidates must have scored at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST category candidates) in their qualifying examination to be eligible for admission.
- Appearing: Appearing candidates in their qualifying examination in 2022 can also apply for LLM Admission.

Application Form for Delhi University 2022 Fees for entry and merit-based admission may differ.
Payment Method: The application cost for entrance exam-based admission shall be paid online using a debit/credit card or net banking. Separate application costs will be levied for each entrance examination/program. The merit-based programmes will not have any additional fees.

How to Apply for DU Admission 2022
The whole step-by-step approach for filling out the Delhi University online application form 2022 is as follows:- Visit the Delhi University 2022 webpage.
- Choose your level of education and proceed to the Delhi University application form submission page.
- Fill out the Delhi University registration form with all of your personal information, such as your name, email address, and phone number, and then click the Register button.
- Complete the Delhi University registration process and then click the login button.
- Now, go on to the DU Application Form and fill out all of the needed information, including personal, academic, and communicational information, before submitting it.
- Candidates will be requested to provide all relevant documents after entering all data in the Delhi University Application Form.
- Now, go to the 'upload papers' option and submit a passport-sized photo and your signature.
- Documents should be no more than 50 kb in size and uploaded in jpg/jpeg/PNG format.
- Candidates will be requested to deposit the specified application fee for DU 2022 after uploading all needed papers on the DU Application form.
- Now, choose your payment method and gateway (Debit Card/ Credit Card/Net Banking, for example), and fill out all of the necessary information.
- After paying the application money, candidates should print the DU Confirmation page and fee receipt for future reference.
Registration Form of CSAS DU 2022
The CSAS DU Admission 2022 Registration Form is now available on the CSAS DU 2022 portal. A single website will be built for admission to all universities in accordance with this new approach, and admission will follow the principles outlined in the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2022. Applicants seeking admission to Delhi University under this scheme must submit an application through a single platform and proceed through the subsequent processes.The application process for CSAS DU Admission 2022 is divided into three stages.
Phase 1: To sign up for the admissions process, students must complete the registration process in Phase 1 by submitting the required information.
Phase 2: In order to participate in the seat allocation and merit list processes, the CUET marks must be uploaded during the application phase 2 process.
Phase 3: The merit list for admissions and the seat allocation list for CSAS DU Admission 2022 will be released in Phase 3.
Phase 2 of Application Starts for CSAS DU 2022
The second round of CSAS DU Admission 2022 applications has begun. CUET Exam Pattern 2022
- CUET-2022 is divided into three parts. The first segment is separated into two parts, the first of which includes 13 languages and the second of which includes 20 languages.
- The languages are French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, Italian, Arabic, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Konkani, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Manipuri, Santhali, Tibetan, Japanese, Russian, and Chinese.
- For admission to Delhi University, candidates must appear in at least one language. The second half of the entrance test includes 27 domain-specific subjects. The final component is based on general knowledge and will only be used for admission to BA programmes. This portion has been further subdivided by DU into two parts: B1 and B2. B1 is a list of 18 disciplines that were previously available at DU prior to the introduction of CUET. B2 is a collection of 19 new topics.
- The final portion of CUET 2022, Section III, is intended to assess the candidate's general knowledge. This portion, however, is not compulsory since a student will only attempt it if it is mentioned as a prerequisite for the programme to which she is applying. Students will have an hour to complete Section III, which will include current events, general knowledge, quantitative reasoning, and the application of fundamental mathematical ideas.

Selecting Subjects in CUET Exam 2022
An applicant must select at least three topics from the domain-specific subject area in order to be admitted to the majority of Delhi University's programmes.- The second segment is divided into two lists, B1 and B2. Applicants must carefully pick their subjects so that they do not select more than one subject at a time.
- Physics, chemistry, mathematics, or biology will be required for entrance to the majority of BSc programmes. It is also required to get at least 30% in any one language.
- To be admitted to the Bachelor of Arts Programme, students must take the CUET entrance test in any one language from section one and any three topics from section two. The marks acquired in the same topic and language will be used to compute the candidate's final score.
- For admission to BA (Hons) Economics, students must select Mathematics from the CUET Syllabus. The merit for this will be determined by the marks earned in the chosen language, Mathematics, and any two disciplines.
- When we had cut-off marks, we used to make the best of four subject marks; similarly, for ultimate admission to DU, we will consider the best CUET result.
- Candidates for the BBA, BMS and BBE degrees must pass the CUET section 3 and one language.
Pass course candidates can pick between a language and one domain-specific topic or a three-subject exam.
After completing the CUET, you will be able to apply for admission to DU.
DU Admission Counselling after CUET
When the CUET results are revealed, Delhi University will provide e-counselling. Candidates will be free to choose their own universities, and colleges will be allotted to them depending on their grades. Prior to each counselling session, candidates will be given the opportunity to re-fill their choices. There will be three rounds of counselling, the third of which will be a spot round.In addition to this, a help desk and numerous webinars will be available to assist candidates with the whole admissions process.

DU NCWEB Admissions 2022
Female candidates who are unable to pursue full-time studies owing to restrictions such as work or others are eligible for admission to Delhi University. Across the DU institutions that participate in and provide admissions through NCWEB, the varsity offers around 32,000 seats in BA and B.Com courses. As a result, sessions for working female applicants seeking DU NCWEB admissions are held in the evenings, on Saturdays and Sundays, or during DU academic breaks.
DU ECA and Sports Quota Admissions 2022
In merit-based degrees, the University of Delhi grants ECA and Sports quota admissions. ECA and Sports quota seats are not available for courses that are available through an admission examination. According to DU regulation, each Delhi University institution shall set aside 1 to 5% of total seats to support ECA and sports. The seats earmarked for ECA and Sporting quotas, on the other hand, cannot be more than 5% of the total seats and are subject to the sports facilities available at the specific college. Candidates must submit their ECA/Sports certificates via the DU admission site. They must also pay an extra cost of Rs. 100 online.
DU ECA Admission Guidelines
- Maximum ECA categories that candidates can apply for - 3
- Concession given to ECA category in DU cut off – 15%
- Level of trails that are done for ECA category – (2) Preliminary and Final
- Based on the preliminary trials, candidates are shortlisted for the final trials
- Certificate evaluation will be done by the ECA Admission Committee only for the candidates who qualify for the final trails
- The final merit lists will be prepared based on Final Trials (75% weightage) and certificate evaluation (25% weightage).
- The applicant must secure at least 50% marks in the final trials (38 out of 75) to be eligible for inclusion in the final merit list.
