Scheme of Examination
The selection process of SSC MTS includes three stages which are compulsory for the candidates to qualify. The three stages are:
  1. Paper-I Computer Based Objective type test
  2. Paper-II Descriptive test
  3. Document Verification

SSC MTS Paper-I Exam Pattern

Paper-II will be a descriptive type paper where the candidates will have to attempt a letter or an essay which will be a total of 50 marks. Duration of Paper II is 30 minutes. The Paper II is just qualifying in nature i.e. marks obtained in paper II are not considered for the merit list except in cases of tie. Candidates who have successfully qualified in the Paper-I and Paper-II examinations, will be called up for the document verification.

Q1: Is the SSC  exam held in online mode?

Ans: Yes MCQ based questions are held in Computer-based Tests (CBT)

Q2. What is the SSC MTS syllabus 2023?
Ans. SSC MTS syllabus covers 4 sections in Tier-1 exam including Reasoning Ability, Numerical Aptitude, English Language and General Awareness. The detailed syllabus for SSC MTS exam is discussed in the article.

Q3. Is there any negative marking in SSC MTS Tier-1 Exam?
Ans. Yes, There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Q4. What is the total number of questions will be asked in MTS Paper-1?
Ans. A total of 100 questions will be asked in SSC MTS 2022 Paper-1 exam.

Q5. What are the minimum requirements for applying for the SSC MTS 2022?
Ans. Matriculation / 10th class Examination Pass or comparable qualification from a recognized board is the minimum qualification for the SSC MTS (Non-Technical) Examination 2022.
