1. Exam Pattern of CTET Examination 

Examination of CTET is divided into two papers depending on the level of teaching a candidate wishes to undertake. 

  • Paper I: For candidates especially those wishing to teach classes I to V (Primary Level). 

  • Paper: For candidates especially those wishing to teach classes I to VIII (Upper Primary Level). 

Candidates can also appear for both papers if they wish to teach both levels Primary level and Upper Primary level.

3. CTET Application Process 

The candidates are required to follow these steps for filling out Process form: 

1. Visit the Official Website of CTET Examination: https://ctet.nic.in 

2. Click to Register as a New User: Enter required details like name, dob, and contact info. 

3. Fill in the Application Form: Fill in the required educational qualification detail, upload a photograph and sign, and select your three-exam center preference.

2. Submit the Application after Compilation: After payment is done submit the form. 

4. Admit Card of CTET Examination 

The admit card of the CTET Examination is available to Candidates on the official website of CTET after a few weeks of filling in the form before the exam and Candidates need to download This Admit card of the CTET Exam from the Website. 

Steps to Download the Admit Card of CTET: 

  1. Go the official website of the examination https://ctet.nic.in 
  2. After Login Click on the CTET Admit Card link for downloading. 
  3. Provide your application number and date of birth for Authentication. 
  4. Click to Download and print the admit card for the exam day.

5. CTET Result 

The result of the CTET examination is generally declared within six to six and half weeks from the date of examination. The results of the candidates can be checked through the official website and to check the result, one has to insert the roll number. And Security Pin and click on to submit button. 

Some steps need to be followed to check CTET Result: 

  1. Go to the official website for checking CTET Result: https://ctet.nic.in 
  2. Click on the Link that is shown for checking the CTET result link. 
  3. Click to Enter your roll number and Security Pin and submit. 
  4. The screen will show the candidate's Subject wise scores. 

6. CTET Merit and Cut-off 

The CTET cut-off Score is the lowest score that a candidate needs to score to pass the exam. As mentioned earlier, the cut-off is: 

  • For the General category, candidates must have 60%. 

  • Whereas 55% for SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled candidates. 

7. CTET Previous Years' Results and Trends 

The pass percentage of CTET over the years has fallen between 15% and 20%. For instance, the 2023 attempt saw only 14% of the candidates come out Successful, revealing just how cutthroat the exam is. 

8. CTET Merit List
