On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has issued the notification for recruitment-2023 for 60,244 constable posts on 23 December 2023.
Applications for these posts are going on till 16 January 2024.
Both male and female candidates can apply for these posts.
This is the biggest constable recruitment ever in Uttar Pradesh Police.
Recruitment of women constables on 20% of these posts
In addition to recruiting for the Uttar Pradesh Special Security Force, PAC, fire department, and civil police, around 80,000 positions, including programmers and computer operators, will be filled in the next two months.
761 women will be specifically recruited for this.

Notably, in the last seven years, the number of women employed by the state police has climbed from approximately 10,000 in 2017 to 40,000.
