IBPS Clerk -Age Limit
- • The candidate must be 20 Years to 28 Years.
- A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1994 and no later than 01.07.2002 (both dates inclusive).

IBPS Clerk - Educational Qualification
A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate should possess a certificate as proof of passing the qualifying examination.
The candidate must possess a valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he/she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.
Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.
Nationality / Citizenship
A candidate must be either -
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Selection Process
IBPS Clerk 2022 Selection Process
The recruitment process for IBPS Clerk CRP XII occurs in two phases:
1. Preliminary Examination
2. Mains Examination
Students are required to qualify for both these exams to get selected for the post of clerical cadre in most Public Sector Banks. The main thing to note here is that there is no interview process required for the selection of candidates after the mains exam. 100% weightage is given to the result of the mains exam result.
IBPS Clerk Preliminary Examination
The preliminary exam of IBPS Clerk CRP XII is an online exam testing a candidate on the basis of their aptitude, intellect and English. There are three sections in total and the candidate must clear the cut-off of each section to proceed to the mains exam round.
Candidates are required to solve the question paper in the time frame of 20 minutes for each section. The composite mark of the paper is 100 and the passing marks are decided by IBPS which is likely to change every year depending on the level of difficulty of the exam.

Note: Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS.
IBPS Clerk Mains Examination
No changes have been observed in the Exam Pattern of the IBPS Clerk 2022 Exam. IBPS Clerk Mains Exam will now constitute 190 questions that need to be completed in a time frame of 160 minutes.
Previously, Computer Aptitude and Reasoning Ability Section used to be conducted separately. But, in the recent update by IBPS, both these sections are amalgamated together and will constitute 50 questions that need to be solved in a time duration of 45 minutes. Penalty for Wrong Answers: There is a penalty for wrong answers marked in both the preliminary examination as well as mains examination. A wrong answer to an objective question will lead to a penalty of one-fourth of the total mark assigned to that question. There will be no penalty for the question left blank or unanswered.
Final Score Calculation for IBPS Clerk Exam:
The final score for the IBPS Clerk exam is calculated keeping the following points in mind:
• Marks obtained in the Preliminary Exam (Phase-1) will not be considered for final selection.
• Candidates must qualify for Phase-2 to be eligible for final merit.
• The aggregate score out of 100 is used for the final merit list for each category. Candidates with top merit rank in each category are finally selected.

IBPS PO Notification 2021
IBPS Recruitment notification for the year 2021 is expected to be released soon. The notification will contain details related to vacancy, eligibility, exam pattern etc. The expected vacancy for the year 2021 are around 3500. The application process will commence in online mode once the notification for the exam is out.
IBPS PO Application Process
IBPS PO 2021 registration process will begin once the recruitment notification is out. As per the guidelines, the candidates must use Internet Explorer 8 and above, Mozilla Firefox 3.0 and above, and Google Chrome 3.0 and above for a smooth application process. The application process is completely online, the candidates should ensure they have the following things ready beforehand.
- A valid Email Id
- Photograph and Signature scanned in the prescribed size
- Debit/credit card details for online transaction
IBPS PO Application Fee
Interested candidates are required to deposit a fee after the completion of the application process. Without the application fee, the candidate’s application is not accepted by IBPS. The fee is taken to manage expenditure incurred in conducting the exam, it also serves the purpose of deterring nonserious aspirants to apply for the exam. The fee needed to be paid is as follows:

IBPS Recruitment Process
The recruitment process begins with official notification. The next stage is the application process. The candidates whose application is accepted receive an online admit card for the 1 st stage of 3 stage recruitment process. The recruitment process consists of a Preliminary Stage, followed by the mains exam and interview process. The candidates have to qualify for the previous stage to reach the next. The finally selected candidates after the interview round are given provisional recruitment by the IBPS.

IBPS Preliminary Examination:
An adequate number of candidates in each category are shortlisted by IBPS depending upon the number of vacancies and facilities for the main exam. The result of prelims is declared within a month of the prelims. The examination pattern for prelims is as follows:
- The total duration of 1 hour and 20 minutes.
- There are three sections in the exam.
- The sections are Math, Reasoning, and English.
- Each section has a fixed time.
- There is a penalty for the wrong answers.

It is important to note that besides the overall cut off there is a sectional cut off too. Candidates must score at least 10 marks in each section in order to be eligible for the mains exam.
IBPS PO Mains Examination
The candidates who are successful in the preliminary stage have to appear for the mains exam. The mains exam is essential for getting a call for an interview round. The final merit list is made based on the score in the mains exam. The details of the mains exam pattern are as follows.
- The exam has 5 sections in total.
- The duration of the exam is 1 Hour and 20 minutes.
- The sections are to be attempted infixed time.
- There is a penalty for wrong answers.
- Like the preliminary stage, there is a sectional cut-off.
- There is a subjective section for essay writing as well.

The interview will be conducted by the participating banks and their nodal branches. The candidates 3 times the vacancy are called for the exam.

About SBI CLERK
State Bank of India has released notification for the SBI Clerk exam. The admit cards for the exam are available from August 17 to August 29, 2021. Candidates whose centres are in Shillong, Agartala, Aurangabad (Maharashtra), and Nashik Centre can now download the admit card from the official website of State Bank. SBI Clerk Exam was earlier scheduled for July 10, 11, 12, and 13, but was postponed for these centres. Which is now to be held on 29th of August.
The SBI Clerk Exam’s main paper is also postponed due to the delay in these centres. The mains exam date will soon be announced by SBI, earlier it was to be conducted on July 31, 2021.
About SBI Clerk Exam
SBI clerk or officially known as SBI Junior Associate Exam is conducted annually by SBI. In order to recruit dynamic and young individuals in junior-level associate posts. There are approximately 5000 vacancies as per the official notification. Already as per some estimates, 18.5 lack candidates have appeared for the examination. The exam comprises prelims and mains exams. The selection of candidates is done state-wise. A candidate can apply for one state only, and there is no interstate movement of junior associates. The selected candidates are employed as cashiers or customer support staff in various branches.

What is IBPS RRB PO Exam?
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is mandated to conduct examinations for the recruitment of young candidates in public sector banks. They are also mandated to conduct recruitment for Regional Rural Bank. IBPS annually conducts the examination for Recruitment of Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks, commonly known as IBPS RRB PO and IBPS RRB Clerk exams.
